Activities that inspire the mind and keep our bodies active. There\u2019s plenty to choose from. We run old favourites such as bingo, trivia games and puzzles \u2013 to the more eclectic \u2013 like Zumba and fine art classes. <\/p>\n
However, while a busy roster of activities looks great on paper, it can never substitute for providing good quality care. <\/p>\n
From our experience, we\u2019ve found that residents often move into care to combat social isolation. Many have been living alone. They\u2019ve begun to miss the simple pleasures that come along with friendship and being part of a welcoming community.
