{"id":1285,"date":"2022-09-10T11:49:59","date_gmt":"2022-09-10T11:49:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cedarlodgecarehome.com\/?p=1285"},"modified":"2022-09-10T11:50:01","modified_gmt":"2022-09-10T11:50:01","slug":"cedar-lodge-summer-fete","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cedarlodgecarehome.com\/index.php\/2022\/09\/10\/cedar-lodge-summer-fete\/","title":{"rendered":"Cedar Lodge Summer Fete"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Cedar Lodge was delighted to recently host our summer fete &#8211; the first to take place since the start of the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With visiting restrictions sadly imposed on the care home throughout the past two years, it was a wonderful feeling for our residents and staff to welcome friends, families and well wishers into Cedar Lodge once more.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We extended the invitation to the whole community &#8211; and we loved seeing old faces (and some new ones!) pop by from Offenham and nearby villages to join in the festivities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many individuals had not seen Cedar Lodge since our recent refurbishment and residents relished showing their loved ones around their home.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We danced to all our favourite songs played by the talented Kevin Spittle, enjoyed fish &amp; chips, and perused classic fete stalls manned by the Cedar Lodge staff in the sun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"767\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/cedarlodgecarehome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/300607508_512242177374830_3982176439592346158_n-767x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1294\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Our summer raffle drawn at the event also raised a phenomenal \u00a3700! All proceeds have gone to the residents fund, which will finance the trips and activities residents would like to do. We couldn\u2019t have raised such a sum without everyone who came to the summer fete and purchased a ticket.
