On the last Friday of every month, Cedar Lodge opens up our home to welcome anyone who would like to pop in to meet us over coffee and a nice slice of cake.
Running for the past few months, the coffee mornings have been a wonderful way for our residents to stay connected with their neighbours and local community in Offenham and further afield.
Visitors help us keep abreast of the local news in Evesham, whilst residents and staff have enjoyed showcasing their home to their new acquaintances that have popped in.
It’s been truly lovely to see staff and residents build and renew friendships at the coffee morning. It’s also given us the chance to demonstrate to more local people what life is like at Cedar Lodge – helping them to answer any questions they might have about living with dementia, frailty or just to give them a taste of care home life in general!
